One of Mr. Avery’s torsion springs had broken while he was away.
Our Solution:
We saw right away what the problem was - there was a visible gap in one of the springs. Other components seemed to be in good shape, so we took down the existing springs and installed a new set. Next, we lubricated the moving parts and realigned the safety sensors. When we reconnected the door, we tested the system to make sure everything worked as it should. As good as new!
